| Da Chaidan Salt lake belongs to a new type of borate salt lake which brine contains sodium, potassiam,(lithium), and magnesium chlorides, sulfates and borates. The climatic data and the chemical composition of the surface brine of the lake of different months in a year have been collected and comprehensiuely studieds. It is indicated that the surface brine of Da Chaidan salt lake displays the following alternatiue and periodical changes: The crystalligation and dissolution of sodium chloride as seed as mirabilite. |
