      This paper presents the communication of automatic observing system between the microcontroller data acquisition system and two intelligent instruments. The first instrument to determine the concentration of potassium in brine adopts parallel communication, however, another to measure the level of brine in salt lake uses serial communication. The hardware interface and the sorfware about two communication modes are exhibited.
