      Engineering research is a stage of vital importance in the exploitation and utilization of salt lake resources. This paper begins with the meaning of engineering research. Then, based on familiar work, it gives illustrative summarization and analysis of previous engineering study. Furthermore, the author puts forward the recommendation for the establishment of national research center of salt lake resources engineering.
