      The property of lithium hydroxide is briefly introduced in this paper.The situation for the supply and demand of lithium hydroxide is reviewed .The preparation methods of lithium hydroxide from brines are described in detail.Furthermore,the foreground of producing lithium hydroxide from brines is prospected.
