      Based on analysis of the components of clay-containing residues of heated dissolution, the authors put forward a method for determining the forms of potassium in the residues, which provided the basis for the optimization of the "Heated Dissolution and Cooled Crystallization" process. The economical prospects of adding filtration equipments were also discussed.
