      The determination of insoluble substances in salts is very important for quality control in the process of producing salts from salt lakes.The conventional method of oven drying proves to.be time-consuming.The method of microwave drying has been studied and compared with oven drying in the present work.The experimental results clearly show that the microwave method is quick,simple,and hence practical for the determination of insoluble substance.
