      N-dodecylaniline was prepared by long cabon chain alkylation of N-aniline, with the starting materials aniline and 1-bromo-dodecane. The optimum conditions for synthesis were as follows： molar ratio of aniline and 1-bromo-dodecan was 2. 5：1 ;and reaction time was 4 h at 60℃. It was characterized by GC：MS QP 2010 and FT-IR. Its yield reached 70. 5%.
