      WT5BZ]Based on LANDSAT Thematic Mapper(TM) image, the distribution, formation and movement of desert were studied in the region of Jilantai Salt Lake, the primary sites of the defence and control were analyzed. The effect of sand defence and control which Jilantai Saltworks made from 1988 to 1997 was monitored through remote sensing. [WT5HZ]
